ATHOL – The Friends of Athol Public Library props sale is back and is scheduled to begin Saturday, December 11 at 10 a.m. In the 2019 sale, buyers were impressed with the huge selection of quality items available at great prices. This year’s event is shaping up to showcase an even wider range of personal accessories at the same low prices as last time around.

The Friends, a nonprofit group that helps support programming and special events at the library, has put together a fabulous collection of pre-loved jewelry including bracelets, earrings, rings, pins, pins and more. There are home fashion scarves, handbags, paperbacks, ties and tote bags. With the local supply chain fully operational and no shortage of inventory, buyers will find a little something for everyone.

The items have a sale price, with most coins costing from 50 cents to $ 5. Ideal to give as a gift or to keep, come to the library to buy slightly used accessories. The Friends book auction room will be open and filled with new and lightly used reading choices across many genres. They will have canvas tote bags and note cards for sale with images from the library.

In addition to the props sale, the library will host vendors without a physical location who will participate in the North Quabbin Chamber of Commerce Midnight Madness event, which also takes place on Saturday. Doors open at 6 p.m. and great deals will be available until midnight. Anyone wishing to get an early start in Midnight Madness should check out the Friends Accessory Sale from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Library.

Proceeds from the sale will be used by Friends to help the library continue to provide free, quality programming and activities to all members of the community. The Athol Public Library is located at 568 Main Street in Athol. Visit online at AtholLibrary.org or call 978-249-9515 for more information.
