DUBAI: Canadian top model and former “America’s Next Top Model” competitor Winnie Harlow lives life in the United Arab Emirates. The 27-year-old, who is currently in Dubai, took to her Instagram this week to show off vacation photos from her trip.

On Tuesday, Harlow posted a carousel of images that saw her posing in the desert wearing a cutout red dress paired with a matching scarf wrapped around her braids. In the series of photos uploaded to the photo-sharing platform, the model can be seen sitting on top of a camel, holding a hawk on her arm and posing in the sand.

“Dubai kissed me like I was an Emirati,” she captioned the post, referring to her compatriot Drake’s words to “Lemon Pepper Freestyle”.

She also shared a video of herself on Instagram Stories listening to Arabic music and enjoying a date.

Ahead of her mini photoshoot in the desert, the model – née Chantelle Whitney Brown-Young – was pictured enjoying a scenic boat ride with friends.

During her trip, the Toronto-born model also made sure to visit the famous Turkish restaurant CZNBurak, where she was presented with personalized bread with her name on it.

Harlow, who stays at Raffles, The Palm, has been in Dubai for at least a week as she celebrated New Years Eve in the emirate.

The trip comes after the model rekindled her romance with NBA star Kyle Kuzma, 26, five months after their split in August.

The couple dated for over a year before their split and reunited last month.

Winnie started dating the professional basketball player during the pandemic in March 2020 after directing him to Instagram for the second time.

During an appearance on “The Ellen Show,” she revealed that the athlete had message her on Instagram a year before, but due to an issue she did not see the message.

“A year later, in my 40s, he sent me a DM again,” she explained.

Meanwhile, Harlow isn’t the only famous face enjoying all the UAE has to offer in recent days. The country has seen many A-listers come to the city, whether for work or play.

British pop singer Robbie Williams, professional boxer Floyd Mayweather, along with DJs Dmitri Vegas and Armin Van Buuren have all ringed New Years in Dubai.
